Two Prep students, Eleanor Reilly and Julian Rivera '08, have won the opportunity to participate in the 59th Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), from May 11-16, 2008, in Atlanta, Georgia. The Intel ISEF is the world's largest international pre-college science competition, which annually provides a forum for high school students from over 40 countries to showcase their independent research.
"Their accomplishments reflect the fine quality of the student body at the Prep as well as the dedication and talent of our faculty who inspire our students to achieve great things", noted St. Francis Prep's Principal, Bro. Leonard Conway, O.S.F., who is currently serving his 25th year at the helm of the school.
We congratulate Eleanor and Julian on their accomplishments and Mary Ann Spicijaric '84 for her record of success in overseeing the Science Research Program, and we thank them for all that they do to further enhance the reputation of St. Francis Prep as one of the finest Catholic high schools in the country.
