December 5, 2007- For the second time this month, Prep alumni and friends gathered at a courthouse in Jamaica to witness the induction of a Terrier as a new judge. On this occasion, William Anthony Viscovich '79, was inducted as Judge of the Civil Court of the City New York.  Once again, Bro. Dominic Quigley, O.S.F. delivered the invocation as family members and friends, together with Prep Alumni Director, Bro. Robert Kent, O.S.F., sat proudly in attendance.

A number of well-respected political leaders, including Rep. Joseph Crowley, Assemblywoman Ann Carrozza, Assemblywoman Nettie Mayersohn and State Senator Toby Stavisky were on the program to offer their congratulations and best wishes. Bill Viscovich is yet another fine example of the Prep's success in educating the fine young men and women in the Franciscan Tradition, and everyone in the Prep "family" wishes him all the best as he assumes his new position.
